Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?

This tool adds text annotations on top of the existing content. To modify the original text, you would need to convert the PDF to Word first using our PDF to Word tool, make your changes, then convert back.

Will the annotations be permanently embedded?

Yes. When you click Apply and download, the text annotations are permanently embedded in the PDF and will appear the same way in any PDF viewer.

Can I annotate multiple pages?

Yes. Select the page number you want to annotate, add your text, then switch to another page to add more annotations. All changes are applied when you download.

Does this work with scanned PDFs?

Yes. You can add text annotations on top of any PDF, including scanned documents. The original scanned content remains unchanged underneath your annotations.
